About the Label

Anamu was borne out of a desire to repurpose the beautifully textured and patterned scarves that designer Ana Maria Muñoz has collected over the years. After experimenting with designs and handcrafting samples, she launched Anamu with her first line of clutches in 2009, featuring signature accents such as yellow topstitching and tailored pleats.

Ana Maria infuses nostalgia and timeless design into ornate handbags and jewelry. From delicate black lace to perfectly patinated brass, she intuitively selects each fabric and material to make a modern, yet markedly vintage, fashion statement.
