Dapper Day Preview

I've got a LOT of schoolwork to do in the next two days. I've got no choice but to make it happen because... I am going to Dapper Day at Disneyland on Sunday !!!

I'm so excited because I've also got theee greatest opportunity of a lifetime for a Disney freak like me... I'm going to Club 33! My friend totally hooked me up with this visit (thanks Nicole!!), and I decided to treat myself BIG TIME. I am esssploding with excitement. If you're not familiar with the legendary Club 33 you can read all about it on the Wiki page.

Anyway, Dapper Day is a wonderful day to get all gussied up for a magical day at Disneyland. I'm not feeling too creative right now though. I was planning on wearing one of my grandmother's dresses, but I'd have to take such care with it so I'm just going to go simple and black --

May wear a denim jacket or a white (faux) leather jacket. I'm thinking I will wear my brown oxfords, just because they're so comfy even though they don't exactly match, BUT I love these grey shoes with the pink soles. If I find them, I will get them. You mark my words! (Edited to add: I ended up grabbing these lovely shoes...but I still want the grey oxfords!)

And of course last but not least the finishing touch-- hair & makeup. I have my hair up in pins so that I can make it big and wavy, and I want to find a really good red lipstick. If not, I have a couple of pinks that may work --

I am going to try to get lots of pictures of the fabulous magical day. There are going to be so many well dressed Disneyphiles there and I cannot wait!
